Getting there
Fraser Island can be accessed by an aircraft, vessel, passenger launches, private boats and commercial tours.

There are charter flights that operate from Hervey bey and Marybourough, while helicopters operate from Kingfisher Bay Resort.

If you are travelling by land, you should obtain a permit for your vehicle and they should be visibly displayed on your vehicle. It is very important that cars, vans and camper vehicles do obtain the required permits to proceed to Fraser Island in order to avoid disappointment of restricted entry.
