What To Pack For Your Yamba Beach Vacation

Cool breezes, beaming sunshine and pristine blue waters are some of the reasons that make beaches some of the most desired destinations for holidays. After a long spell at work or school, nothing looks more appealing as a trip to the beach. To enable you thoroughly enjoy the experience it is important to understand just what you need to pack, to avoid a situation where the experience morphs into a nightmare.

Take with you lots of water and snacks. With the famed Yamba summer heat that can get to the extreme in some cases, you can never have too much water. Apart from the recommended daily intake of water, the summer heat and other factors dictate that you gulp down more to avoid dehydration. Carry with you lots of water bottles while you are going down to the beach and keep drinking it whether you are thirsty or not. Snacks such as nuts and dried fruits are also excellent for beach escapades.

Carry plenty of sunscreen to protect your skin from the dangerous ultra violet rays from the sun. True, you may want to lie on that sand for hours on end to get the tan of a lifetime; but at what cost? A good sunscreen should be sweat proof as well as water proof with a factor of 15 when it comes to minimum sun protection.

Before leaving your Yamba motor inn, hotel or resort for the beach, ensure you have extra towels. These are especially useful when you want to sunbathe but the scorching sand cannot allow. An extra set of clothing is also recommended. These followed, you will have a pleasant time in Yamba beaches.
