Byron Bay Writers' Festival
The Byron bay writers’ festival is an annual event that takes place in Byron bay. The celebration began back in 1997 with Chris Hanley being the leader of the festival. At first, there were limited audiences though they enjoyed the presence of fifty Australian writers. Over time, the festival has grown so much that it fills four massive marquees. The Byron Writers Festival 2020 dates are 7 – 9 August. Be sure to purchase your tickets as acces is only available to 3 day and 1 day ticket holders.This means that, in modern days the festival holds a lot of audience and more writers from Australia.
The Australian writes not only come to celebrate for the festival, but to give lectures, conversation, launch and give reading skills to the audience. However, the festival is so much advanced that they even offer interviews. They held their tenth festival on 2006 where they gained more audience with presenters, actors and writers inclusive.
The reason why these writers have gained more reputation is that, they have developed a close association with readers’ festival and Ubud writers. This has in turn helped them to gain a lot of knowledge and ideas. Better still, the festival always provides forums for discussions online, in order to find out the rising issues among writers. However, during the festival all guests address the issues and find solutions. We can therefore say that, this festival is not for fun but it enhances creative thinking to improve everyone’s skills and abilities.
